Renowned sand sculptor Abe Waterman unveiled his masterpiece, a striking "fallen angel" design, at the 24th Annual Hampton Beach Sand Sculpting Classic. Held on June 22, 2024, the event allowed the public to explore and vote for their favorite sculptures on the final day.

On the last day of the sand sculpting classic which took place on June 22, 2024, they allowed the public to walk through and vote for their favorites. Abe Waterman chose a design that looks like a "fallen angel." Some describe it as "Icarus." He shows some of the skills required and was the only sculptor who made his design below grade. I was happy to be able to see it up close from this angle as it was not clear from the viewing area on the boardwalk.
