A helicopter mum coached her daughter by dancing at the front of the crowd at a kiddie talent show.

The parent had joined her kid at the Little Stars contest held at a mall but caught the attention of the audience with her energetic moves at the foot of the stage.

Footage shows the mother shaking her body to help the little girl remember the steps in Bacoor City, the Philippines on July 13.

She was fixated on demonstrating the choreography to the youngster, ignoring amused looks from other mums.

Onlooker RB Balindo, who was the event's official photographer, said: ‘She was such a stage mum. She was determined for her daughter to win.'

The girl, with her mother's full support, got into the next round of the talent search.
