United States: Simi Valley Juvenile Stabbed UPDATED
Simi Valley, Los Angeles, United States - July 20, 2024
Simi Valley Police officers responded to a reported stabbing in the parking lot of the shopping center in the 2600 block of Tapo Canyon Road.
When officers arrived on scene, they located a 16-year-old male bleeding profusely suffering from an unknown number of stab wounds.
The victim was transported to the hospital in unknown condition.
The incident might have occurred at a car meet that congregates in the shopping center on Friday nights.
No further details at this time.
UPDATE:
On 07/19/2024 at 1030 pm Simi Valley Police Officers responded to the Regal Plaza (2751 Tapo Cyn Rd.) for a report of a fight. The Simi Valley Police Department's Communications Center received mutiple calls advising a large group of juveniles were fighting in the parking lot. Officers arrived at the location and located a male juvenile who had sustained a single stab wound. The juvenile was transported to a local Trauma Center and is expected to make a full recovery. Detectives from the Simi Valley Police Department's Detective Unit and members from the Department's Special Enforcement Team (SET) responded and took over the investigation. At the time of this report, the suspect in this case is still outstanding, however investigators advised there is not a threat to the public at this time. Detectives are seeking the public's assistance regarding this incident.
