Occurred on July 14, 2024 / Ottawa, Ontario, Canada

Info from Licensor: "I was driving downtown Ottawa on Kent St, when a a U-Haul truck came from the wrong side of the road and turned directly into us. The SUV in front of us was the only vehicle hit, and it was dragged across three lanes to the sidewalk. After hitting the SUV, the truck decided to escape and made his way onto Kent street, which is also a one way. Fortunately, he did not hit other cars, but the truck was found a couple blocks away. Unfortunately, the driver ran and they were not able to arrest him. The two ladies in the car, were physically ok but shaken up a bit. The SUV had major damage to the front and left side. Police arrived on site about 2 minutes later and I was told that he was following him in the one way, and that's when the U-Haul decided to speed off and cause the accident."
