USA: Woodland Hills Deceased Baby Found Part 2

07/24/2024 02:00 am (GMT-0700) | WOODLAND HILLS, LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Police Department was still at the scene in the early morning hours with a tent covering possible body of baby awaiting medical examiner's office.
A newborn baby was found Tuesday evening at a house under construction located at 23227 Burbank Blvd. LAPD Topanga Division officers responded to a welfare check call, and found the newborn baby unconscious and not breathing. A crime scene has been established at the location, and officers are canvasing the area. LAFD responded, but the newborn was not transported. No further information at this time.
According to a spokesperson for the LAPD, the one-day old infant was found at a residence. The cause of death of the female infant is undetermined at this time. The mother of the infant was found at a hospital. The incident is under active investigation. There are no further details as of Wednesday morning.
