"I recreated Simone Biles' routine with 120 paper cut outs"
An artist has recreated Simone Biles' Olympic routine with 120 paper cut outs.
Rudy Willingham, 39, has been creating paper designs for three years, including some featuring Kobe Bryant, Lil Naz X, and Britney Spears.
It took him two weeks to design, cut, print and film his handmade paper artwork honouring the seven-time Olympic gold medal gymnast.
As he moves through the individual images, it creates the illusion of movement.
The artist and content creator, from Seattle, Washington said: "Like most people, I am just in awe of her talent."
"Especially the struggles she has had in the last Olympics."
"I was looking for a way to pay tribute to her greatness."
Rudy headed down to Los Angeles, California, to film for the video.
He said: "I wanted the background to mean something and have a theme."
"Everything was red white and blue. "
"I had some gold backdrops in as she is a gold medalist."
