Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, United States - August 10, 2024

On August 10th morning, SpaceX achieved a successful launch of 21 Starlink satellites aboard a Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. This launch marked SpaceX's 52nd mission from the state this year, following a delay from adverse booster recovery conditions the previous day.

The Falcon 9 rocket lifted off at 8:50 a.m. from Pad 40, deploying the satellites into low Earth orbit. Impressively, the booster returned to Earth, landing on the drone ship "Read the Instructions" in the Atlantic Ocean, marking the 21st successful recovery for this booster.

Originally, SpaceX had planned two launches for Saturday, but the second, carrying 23 satellites, was rescheduled to Sunday morning due to weather concerns stemming from Tropical Storm Debby remnants. The 45th Weather Squadron provided a favorable 90% "go for launch" forecast during Saturday's window.

Among the satellites launched, 13 are equipped with direct-to-cell capabilities, enabling texting, calling, and browsing across land and water bodies.

Looking ahead, SpaceX is preparing for another launch on Sunday evening from Vandenberg Space Force Base, where it plans to deploy satellites for the Arctic Satellite Broadband Mission owned by Space Norway. This ongoing momentum underscores SpaceX's pivotal role in expanding satellite connectivity and advancing space exploration missions.SpaceX Successfully Launches 21 Satellites from Florida; Another Launch Scheduled for Sunday
