Early this morning crew launched to conduct a MEDEVAC of a 29 year old male with a head injury, off the Motor Tanker Lone Star Mariner, 130 nautical miles off the coast of Southwest Pass. With coverage from an HC-144 Ocean Sentry out of U.S. Coast Guard Aviation Training Center, the crew hoisted the patient via litter and transported him to University Medical Center New Orleans. He was last reported in stable condition.
