Residents of San Vicente Xiloxochitla, Tlaxcala, set a Guinness Record for the distribution of basket tacos with the most varieties of flavor in Mexico City. Hundreds of residents gathered in Reforma to try this typical food in the capital of the country. Nearly 30,000 tacos were sold out in half an hour, which were mainly seasoned with green sauce. The governor of Tlaxcala, Lorena Cuellar Cisneros, received the title for this feat. The governor said that the idea was promoted by the producers of the tacos with the objective of making the citizens aware that this culinary delicacy is originally from San Vicente Xiloxochitla.
