STORYLINE:
The Dutch capital of Amsterdam is currently hosting the 2024 World Masters Squash Championship, a prestigious international event that brings together the world's top squash players.
Around 1,200 players from across the globe, including participants from China's Hong Kong, are competing in this year's World Masters Squash Championship, which began on Thursday, said Mike Dale, head of media for the European Squash Federation.

"Hong Kong has always had quite a good reputation within squash. They have done very well in the juniors over the years. And they've got some strong players."
Organized every two years by the World Squash Federation (WSF), the championship is being held at the Frans Otten Stadium in Amsterdam, the largest squash club in the Netherlands with 21 courts.
The 2024 championship will run until August 22.
