United States: DTLA Fatal Shooting Updated
Los Angeles, United States - August 17, 2024
LAPD Central units responded to the area of 505 South San Pedro Street for reports of a shooting victim.
According to 911 callers, an altercation was heard between several males followed by 7-8 gunshots.
When officers arrived on scene, they located a male down on the sidewalk not conscious and not breathing suffering from a gunshot wound to the neck.
The victim was transported to the hospital with CPR in progress in unknown condition.
UPDATE (1:00PM): It has been reported that the victim succumbed to their injuries at the hospital.
