The forest fire that erupted in the Menderes district of Izmir has been successfully brought under control, according to the latest updates from local authorities. This news comes as a relief to the residents and the firefighting teams who have been working tirelessly to contain the blaze.

In contrast, the situation in Gerede, Bolu, remains critical as firefighting operations continue unabated. The fire, which started in a forested area, has been challenging to manage due to its remote location and the rugged terrain, complicating access for firefighting teams.
