The incredible video shows a lucky driver pulling away in her car just seconds before a retaining wall toppled and crushed seven other vehicles parked in the same spot.

Surveillance camera footage captured on Slavyanskaya Street in Vladivostok, Primorsky Krai, Russia, shows the woman running towards the SUV before getting in and driving away on August 24.

Just moments later, the wall behind started to bulge dangerously before suddenly collapsing, crushing seven other vehicles parked nearby.

Minutes before the collapse, residents reported hearing a loud, cracking noise echoing through the area.

Vladivostok Mayor Konstantin Shestakov said that emergency crews and specialists are currently working at the scene and that the retaining wall will be restored.

He said in a statement: 'Preliminary reports indicate that there are no injuries, but seven vehicles are buried under the rubble.

'The exact cause of the incident will be determined after an investigation.

'Cadastral engineers will be dispatched to the site to precisely determine whether the retaining wall is within the boundaries of the residential area.

'The primary goal of the city administration is to quickly decide on the construction of a new retaining wall to ensure safety in the area, regardless of who is responsible for the structure.

'Additionally, our city services will assist the management company in removing the debris currently obstructing emergency vehicle access.'

Shestakov stated that compensation will be determined once the responsible party for the collapsed wall is identified.

City officials speculate that heavy rains, combined with missing drainpipes to divert groundwater, likely caused the wall to collapse.
