Spectators who are attending events at the ongoing Paris 2024 Paralympics have praised the determination and courage of the athletes, hailing them as inspirational role models in showing how to overcome challenges in life.

When asked about their experience in watching the Games, spectators from various countries who gathered outside the Stade de France, one of the main showpiece venues of the Paralympics, said they were inspired by the stories and spirit of the competitors.

Meanwhile, Hector, a member of the Colombian delegation, said that the participants can serve as an inspiration to many people around the world.

The 2024 Paralympic Games opened in the French capital on August 28 and will run through September 8.
