SOUNDBITE (English): AJURI NGELALE, Spokesman for Nigerian President
"By and large, Nigeria recognizes China as a very strategic partner in the global economy of the 21st century, and that will continue.
The Federal Republic of Nigeria will always be at the center of any conversation around continental cooperation with any other region.
As a leading, if not the lead country on the continent, (it is) certainly overseeing a major sub-region. There's no doubt that any conversation around the Belt and Road cooperation with Africa is going to be incomplete without a reference of cooperation with the Federal Republic of Nigeria."
