Ghanaian health sector players were impressed by the latest cutting-edge Chinese medical technology, which was on display at a three-day medical industry summit and exhibition in Accra.
The event held last week was organized by the Health Community of West Africa, a Ghana-based Chinese firm that seeks to support capacity building at all health facilities in West Africa.

"So, I believe that there're higher prospects between the Ghanaian and the Chinese governments medically, considering what we have come to see here with the various exhibitions that have taken place and the advanced modern technology devices that we have here.
When I came here, there were quite a number of TCM (traditional Chinese medicine) booths and companies from China. We are hoping that they will bring more of such investments into the country so that we also patronize these Chinese products."
