Truck overturns in Kangding, China after suspected brake failure
On August 18, 2024, a road accident occurred in Kangding, Sichuan province, China, when a large truck carrying other vehicles overturned after veering into a roadside drainage ditch. The incident, shared by @HiHiHiHiHigeng, happened on a downhill road as the author slowed down due to traffic congestion. The truck, suspected to have suffered brake failure, honked its horn before crashing into the ditch and overturning. A nearby vehicle was hit in the process, but no serious injuries were reported. The truck driver sustained minor injuries and was taken to the hospital.
