This is the moment stylist orangutan Chapa makes a monkey of supermodels as she shows off her own unique way of displaying her fashion picks.

Chapa, 47, had been given a blue bathrobe by keepers at Moscow Zoo to keep the chill off as temperatures in the Russian capital dipped to 14 degrees Celsius.

But she turned it into a one-woman catwalk show that any designer at Milan or London Fashion Week would go ape for.

Knowing just how to slip on the robe, Chapa shrugs it over her shoulders and slides in her arms as she experiments with how to wear it.

Trying it open in a daring cutaway look, she quickly changes her mind and pulls it all the way across for a more modest look.
Then, for a more daring image, she draped the towling robe over her head.

Finally, deciding it simply is not for her, she pulls it over her head and discards it on her enclosure floor.

The footage was posted on social media by zoo general director Svetlana Akulova on 23rd September where she describes Chapa as a "big fashionista".
