Beachgoers rescue child struggling in choppy sea
This is the dramatic moment beachgoers rescued a child struggling in a choppy sea.
Four locals spotted the girl being swept away by the waves, prompting them to run towards her in Fujian, China, on October 2.
Footage shows a man rushing to reach the child and pull her from the water. However, as he embraced the child, both were hit by a powerful wave, while the other beachgoers ran to the shore.
Two more men assisted the rescuer and the child as they drifted further out.
Both the doting man and the child reportedly did not sustain any serious injuries from the incident.
Authorities strongly advise guardians and parents to keep a close watch on their children to prevent such incidents.
