In the midst of the devastating forest fire season that is ravaging the Santa Cruz de la Sierra region, a young man of just 14 years old has become a symbol of hope and resistance. Junior Paraba, a volunteer forest firefighter in Aguas Calientes, Robore, tirelessly fights the flames that threaten not only his community, but vast areas of forest in the region. Despite his young age, his courage is unwavering in the face of a situation that has destroyed thousands of hectares and put Bolivia's biodiversity at risk. This is the story of a young man who, with his hands and his heart, is helping to mitigate one of the greatest environmental crises in his country.
