Mechanic injured after car's hood slams shut on his back
On November 5, in Tongliao, Inner Mongolia, a mechanic suffered a double accident while repairing a Land Rover. The hood's hydraulic strut malfunctioned, first pinching the man’s back. As he crouched down in pain, the hood fell again, this time crushing his hand in a second blow.
The mechanic later shared that he sustained minor soft tissue injuries to his back and hand but is expected to recover after a couple of days' rest.
