At around 10 p.m. on 6 September, actor Liu Xuancheng arrived at Kaifeng North Station on train G1555/8 from Beijing West to Shangqiu. As he disembarked, more than 30 fans holding tickets for the same train surrounded him on the platform. They continuously filmed and followed him to the exit, even preventing other passengers from boarding and alighting normally, causing serious chaos at the scene.

Video footage showed the platform completely blocked after the high-speed train’s arrival. Railway staff repeatedly shouted warnings such as “Be careful,” “Don’t push,” and “Don’t fall,” but were ignored. Some passengers were trapped inside the carriages and unable to move, forcing staff to carry out urgent evacuation and guidance to maintain order.

On 8 September, Zhengzhou Railway Station issued a notice confirming that the incident was caused by passengers surrounding the actor. Thanks to emergency measures, Liu exited the station smoothly, and train operations and other passengers’ entry and exit were not affected. However, a few fans who were filming fell over, though fortunately no one was injured.

On 7 September, Liu Xuancheng’s management company released a stern statement condemning the fans’ behaviour as seriously disrupting public order and endangering safety, urging rational conduct in fandom.

The actor himself has not directly responded, but the incident has sparked widespread discussion about irrational fan behaviour.
