As of today, the blaze, which spans 4,383 acres across New York and New Jersey, is still considered 20% contained. More than 300 personnel from over 64 agencies have been deployed to the scene, with air support provided by the NY State Police and the NY Army National Guard, who conducted 177 water drops.
