A boy demonstrated a clever kitchen hack to separate yolks from egg whites.
He used a plastic bottle to remove an egg yolk while preparing a meal in Guangdong, China, on September 13.
Footage shows him carefully positioning the mouth of the clean one-litre bottle over an egg yolk in a bowl.
He then gently squeezed the bottle to suction the yolk without breaking it and transferred it to another pan.
His mother appeared visibly impressed by his precision.
The bottle suction method works because egg whites are runnier and more slippery than yolks, allowing the yolk to enter the bottle while the egg white remains behind.
