Los Angeles, United States - December 11, 2024 12/11/2024 11:20 pm (GMT-0800) RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. – The California Highway Patrol responded to a traffic collision on the I-15 South just north of Fourth Street at 11:00 p.m. Wednesday night. Per CHP Logs, a person was driving a red sedan recklessly at speeds of up to 90 miles per hour. Upon arrival, a red sedan was found disabled in lanes with major damage. A FedEx semi-truck and trailer were also disabled in the far right lane with damage and leaking fluids into southbound lanes. The driver of the red sedan fled the scene after colliding with the FedEx truck. Therefore, the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department responded to the scene and began to search for the suspect who was driving the red sedan. A Sig Alert was issued for lanes 2, 3 and 4 of the I-15 South, which caused traffic delays. The driver of the FedEx truck was out of the vehicle speaking with fire personnel and appeared to have no injuries to report. The driver of the red sedan was not located and the collision is currently under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
