On December 16, at the wintry Sayram Lake in Xinjiang, a stunning ice and snow spectacle unfolded—towering ice columns as high as 10 meters stood proudly along the lakeshore, resembling a magical ice castle straight out of a fairy tale. The breathtaking scene attracted countless tourists and photography enthusiasts.

According to eyewitnesses, the formation of these ice columns is due to the extremely cold weather conditions in the Sayram Lake region. Water vapor in the air freezes and gradually accumulates, creating this spectacular phenomenon. Under the sunlight, the ice columns glisten and sparkle, reflecting a crystalline brilliance. Together with the surrounding snowy landscape, they create a magnificent and enchanting winter scene.
