Monkey snatches phone and power bank out of Chinese tourist's hands and refuses to give it back
On December 15, in Leshan, Sichuan, a woman visiting the Emei Mountain Scenic Area had her phone and power bank, which were charging, snatched away by a monkey.
After grabbing the phone, the monkey ran to a nearby railing, leaving the woman screaming in fright. In an attempt to retrieve her belongings, the woman tried calling the monkey with gentle names like “Good Baby” and “Dear,” hoping to coax it into returning her items. However, the monkey showed no intention of letting go of its "loot."
According to Mr. Ge, who filmed the video, the monkey likely mistook the phone and power bank for snacks. Fortunately, the phone eventually fell to the ground, but the monkey ran off with the power bank.
