US, Los Angeles: Covina Wrong Way Car Crashes into Box Truck Fatal With Sound On Tape
Los Angeles, United States - December 19, 2024 12/19/2024 01:58 am (GMT-0800) COVINA, Calif. – California Highway Patrol officers and Los Angeles Sheriff's Department deputies, along with Los Angeles County Fire Department, responded to a traffic collision with one person trapped at North Lark Ellen Avenue and East Cypress Street in the city of Covina. Firefighters and paramedics pronounced the female driver of the car deceased on the scene. Per multiple witnesses, the vehicle was traveling northbound and crossed over to the southbound lanes, crashing head-on into a box truck. CHP will be taking over an investigation into the fatal crash.
