The annual Amsterdam Light Festival in the Netherlands has returned, transforming the capital's city center into a vibrant world of light and art.
Since its inception in 2012, the festival has become a highlight of the winter season, bringing warmth and charm to the darker months. Each year, artists create stunning light installations designed specifically for the event, captivating residents and visitors alike.
This year's festival features 27 light artworks created by artists from around the globe. The installations are located along Amsterdam's canals and waterways, offering visitors the chance to explore them by boat, bike, or on foot.
This year's light festival runs from November 28, 2024, to January 19, 2025.
