Ninety-four Kenyan public servants have graduated from a Huawei-sponsored training program on cybersecurity.
The graduation ceremony held on Thursday was graced by senior officials and Huawei executives in Nairobi, the Kenyan capital.
The training program targeted government regulatory agencies' personnel, enterprise board members, middle and senior-level managers, cybersecurity managers, and experts.
Topics covered in the program included global cybersecurity trends, international cybersecurity standards, cybersecurity governance practices, data privacy and protection.
During the ceremony, Huawei Kenya and the National Computer and Cybercrimes Coordination Committee signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on cybersecurity cooperation.
