Chinese students slip and slide on icy streets in Urumqi
On December 3, 2024, in Urumqi, located in northwestern China’s Xinjiang region, a video captured a playful nighttime scene of three young students walking along a snow-covered street.
The heavy snowfall and icy roads created the perfect conditions for some lighthearted fun. Two of the boys amused themselves by sliding their feet across the ice, trying to imitate the feeling of skating.
However, one of them, easily recognized by his red backpack, lost balance after just a few seconds and slipped hard onto the icy ground. Thankfully unhurt, his companions burst into laughter at the comical moment.
