On December 16, in Chenzhou, Hunan, a doctor treated a baby with torticollis by gently "swinging" and kneading the baby's neck and body, almost like kneading dough. The baby appeared to enjoy the entire process without showing any signs of pain or discomfort.

The doctor explained that these techniques, involving specific hand movements and controlled pressure, can effectively stretch and relax tight muscles, helping to alleviate torticollis symptoms. However, such treatment requires professional skill and experience and should not be attempted at home.

Torticollis is a common condition in infants, characterized by the head tilting to one side. If left untreated, it can lead to complications such as facial asymmetry, vision problems, and developmental issues. Early detection and treatment are crucial for preventing these outcomes.
