This is the impressive moment a snowboarding food vendor sold meat skewers while cruising down ski slopes.

The daring and opportunistic business owner of Coco Tuohai Northeast BBQ glided along the piste to sell freshly cooked barbecues to skiers at Keketuohai Ski Resort in Xinjiang, China, on December 9.

Footage shows the man skiing toward tourists and offering them grilled meat.

Other holidaymakers were stunned to see him sliding downhill while carrying a grill and simultaneously fanning the coals to cook the barbecues.

One of the tourists said: 'He was promoting his restaurant nearby, and I think it was a cool advertisement.'

Some locals expressed concerns about the dangers of the vendor's method of selling food, saying the skewer sticks might cause harm to holidaymakers, as the sharp sticks could injure them if they accidentally fell on the snowy terrain.

Authorities have reportedly banned businesses from selling food in the skiing area.

China's winters, lasting from late November to March, are famously harsh and cold, marked by strong winds, dry air, and sporadic frost and snow.
