Ice pellets the size of marbles rained down a street in Indonesia.

Footage shows the icy barrage of hailstorms striking the ground in East Nusa Tenggara on November 7.

It hit the parked vehicles, pavement, and roofs of homes, making a crackling noise.

A resident said: 'We all took cover when the cold ice started pouring.'

A hailstorm is a weather phenomenon where frozen balls or lumps of ice, known as hailstones, fall from the sky. These hailstones form in thunderstorms when strong updrafts carry raindrops into the atmosphere.
