An eruption occurred at the summit crater of the southern peak of Sakurajima on Friday, December 27.
A significant amount of volcanic ash was expelled, reaching an altitude of 2,200 meters.
The first video was recorded at 4:42 pm, and the second video was recorded at 5:21 pm.
