January 02, 2025 01/02/2025 01:54 am (GMT-0800) LINCOLN HEIGHTS, LOS ANGELES – CHP Central officers responded to a report of a body on the shoulder of the I-5 North near Broadway. Officers found a body at the reported location, which the arriving Los Angeles Fire Department personnel declared deceased. The CHP had closed all northbound lanes except the number one lane. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner responded to the scene to assist in the investigation with the CHP and collect the body to identify and determine the cause of death. It is unclear if this was a hit-and-run collision.
