Los Angeles, United States - October 27, 2025 10/27/2025 01:00 am GMT-0700 LINCOLN HEIGHTS, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers from the Baldwin Park Area office were in pursuit of a Lincoln Town Car that failed to stop for a traffic break on the eastbound 10 Freeway at Kellogg Drive in the Pomona area. The chase began as officers followed the suspect eastbound on the 10 Freeway. The suspect exited the 10 Freeway at Indian Hill Boulevard in Claremont, where a female passenger was dropped off. The suspect then re-entered the westbound lanes of the 10 Freeway, leading officers into East Los Angeles. The pursuit ended when the suspect exited the freeway at Soto Street. After coming to a stop, the suspect refused to comply with officers' orders to exit the vehicle. Officers approached the car and broke a window to take the suspect into custody. It is unknown if drugs or alcohol played a role in the suspect's decision to evade arrest. The female was taken into custody by the CHP.
