Pet parrot flaps on owner's head like helicopter rotors
A pet parrot flapped its wings on its owner's head like helicopter rotors.
The seven-year-old sun conure named Monet perched on Chutimand Thongbai for some stretching before doing the swift movements in Bangkok, Thailand on January 7.
Footage shows Monet flexing its wings with vibrant shades of orange and yellow before making rapid flaps that resemble a machine.
Chutimand said: 'My bird only wanted to stretch. Monet is comfortable doing it near me.'
Stretching helps birds keep their muscles flexible and prevents stiffness. It is a natural part of their daily routine and can signify that the animal feels safe in its environment.
