This is the amusing moment a shopper used a remote-controlled cart to collect his groceries.

Nathan Shanmuga was sitting at home while he piloted his DIY toy car to purchase snacks from various stores and food stalls in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Point-of-view footage shows the RC vehicle entering a supermarket on June 12.

The machine approached a staff member to help pick up some bread, and the woman happily assisted.

She can be seen showing the packs of pastries to the camera and collecting the payment placed in the cart's basket.

In another clip, the remote-controlled cart rolled into an eatery to pick up Nathan's lunch.

Moments later, the toy vehicle visited two different street food stalls, where it purchased a coconut drink and meat skewers. Nathan even conversed with the vendors through a built-in microphone.

The inventive owner said: 'It's a convenient way for me to buy food without even going out, and I've been using it for quite some time now.'
