This is the whimsical moment that local monkeys found a cozy retreat in steamy hot springs.


On December 28, 2024, in the icy landscapes of Yuntai Mountain in Jiaozuo, Henan, the video captured small monkeys huddling together in the thermal waters, surrounded by a frosty environment.


These wild macaques, without any human aid, had adapted to the cold by frequenting these natural hot spots, which were also equipped with shelters to enhance their warmth.


According to visitors, despite the positive temperatures, the biting cold made the warm refuge of the hot springs an essential escape for these primates.


The video ended with the monkeys continuing their thermal relaxation, undisturbed by the cold outside.
