TikTok user 'echolanedesigns' shared a surprising discovery in their newly built home. Completed in October 2021, the family moved in and lived happily for seven months before noticing something unusual: a window visible from the outside had never been cut out on the inside.

The hidden window, located right where the fence opened, had gone unnoticed for months. Once discovered, it was a quick fix, the builders repaired it within a couple of days. The homeowners had even completed an independent inspection before their one-year mark, which only revealed minor cosmetic issues that were promptly addressed.

We built our home where, after a year, it was finally completed in October 2021. Seven months after we moved in we noticed a window on the outside of our home that the sheetrockers forgot to cut out. It was right where the fence opened so it went unnoticed for months! When we noticed it, it was repaired in a couple of days. We had a home inspection by an independent inspector prior to our one year of living in the home where only minor cosmetic issues were reported and fixed immediately. We have had no other issues since!
