[Voiceover] Sales are soaring for Lunar New Year products made in China as roughly one-fifth of the global population gear up to celebrate the holiday, which falls on Jan 29th, this year. Things like firecrackers, or these decorative red knots, which are a symbol of good luck and prosperity for the new year. The manager of one crafts factory says they're offering more than 1,000 product variants this year, which has boosted sales considerably. As market demand grows, we have been increasing our input in research and development. This year we have six major series of products, including over 1,000 product variants. They are selling in every part of China and also in some Southeast Asian countries and regions." [Voiceover] Fireworks are another Chinese Lunar New Year favorite.
