Students on 'Moana' costumes make amusing entrance to university show
Two college students cosplayed as Maui and Moana from the Disney movie 'Moana' during a school event.
The College of Engineering and Information Technology (CEIT) participated in a cosplay competition, portraying different Disney Princesses in Cotabato City, the Philippines, on September 23.
Footage shows the flamboyant entrance of the characters in a gymnasium, lively dancing and in sync with the beat of the drum. The Moana student was seen performing on a makeshift boat prop while two men were pushing the platform.
Moana is a 2016 American animated musical fantasy comedy-drama film produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios. It tells the story of Moana, the strong-willed daughter of a Polynesian chief, who is chosen by the ocean itself to reunite a mystical relic with the goddess Te Fiti.
