Firefighters rescued at least 60 residents from a blaze in an office building in Moscow.

Dramatic footage shows emergency responders battling the flames, which spread across a 2,000-square-metre area, on January 31.

Around 155 specialists, 45 units, and a special fire train were called in to tackle the intense heat and heavy fire load, which had already forced 300 individuals to evacuate before the fire services arrived.

Aviation support was also requested, with four helicopters dropping over 100 tonnes of water and foam.

The fire reportedly broke out at around 5:30 am, possibly due to a wiring malfunction. Part of the building's roof collapsed.

No injuries were reported following the incident.
