Grandmother amazes neighbours by climbing tree to collect fruit
A grandmother amazed neighbours who saw her climbing a tree to collect fruit.
Footage shows the elderly woman standing on the branch of a neem tree 40ft above the ground in Roi Et province, Thailand, on January 29.
She took steady steps on the hardwood to reach for more produce when she was spotted by relative Patchararat, who lives beside her house.
Patchararat said: 'She likes to snack on them. They are very healthy because the tree grew naturally without chemicals. It keeps her strong.'
Neem trees produce small, olive-like fruit that are green when unripe and turn yellow or brown when ripe.
