'Hangry' customer attacks counter 'because his pizza was taking too long'
This is the shocking moment a 'hangry' customer attacked a shop counter - because his pizza was taking too long.
The drunk man and his friend had been waiting for a large chicken pepperoni dish from Domino's Pizza in Nashik, Maharashtra on February 2.
But they are said to have become irritated when the fast food did not arrive in under five minutes. They then flew into a rage - a combination of being angry and hungry.
CCTV footage shows the pair charging at one of the staff and grabbing the employee's shirt. Upon seeing this, other workers pulled the customers away from the counter.
The enraged man then removed the monitor screen, a cashier box, and other items on the desk and threw them at the workers, while a customer attempted to calm him down.
Moments later, the allegedly intoxicated men had another brief argument with the manager before eventually walking out of the restaurant.
No one reportedly sustained any injuries from the encounter, but there was significant property damage in the store.
After the incident, the workers filed a report against the suspects with the police. Authorities are currently investigating the incident and tracking the men down.
