February 6, Shiyan, Hubei — At the entrance of the Louvre car park on Eryan Street, a man exited his car to scan a QR code for payment but forgot to engage the handbrake. The vehicle rolled forward, smashing through the barrier and continuing down the road, eventually crashing into a roadside fence and a security booth. Both the driver and the booth attendant sustained minor injuries.**

On 7 February, the property management staff explained that two children were still inside the car during the incident. The driver repeatedly attempted to brake but failed, mistakenly pressing the accelerator, which led to the collision with the booth. The barrier has since been replaced, while repairs to the fence and security booth are still underway.
