The video shows a tabby cat defecating on a counter piled with bulk rice and covering the excrement with rice.

Supermarket staff responded that this was a cat raised inside the supermarket. After the incident, all the bulk rice involved was immediately removed from the shelves, thoroughly disinfected, and replaced with new rice. The cat involved has also been sent away.

The staff member also stated that the surveillance video showed that a customer bought the rice after the cat defecated. The supermarket has now initiated a recall program.
