A pair of wild boars invaded a golf driving range to search for food.

The feral pigs slipped through the fence and ran across the field together at Punggol Golf Driving Range in Singapore on February 20 evening.

Footage shows the duo exploring the range on a single file as balls crash around them. There were hundreds of golf balls scattered on the ground and the pair were sniffing them as they passed.

The wild boars went back and forth, appearing to scour the area while players stopped to let them wander about.

One of the golfers Chua said: 't first, I was practising my golf swing when I noticed a statue resembling a mouse deer on the right.

'Not long after, the statue came to life and started running across the training field, where hundreds of golf balls were being shot.

'Everyone started taking out their phones to record videos and take pictures of two wild boars.

'When I left the place at 9 pm, the boars were still in the field, but I hope the staff managed to guide them out of the compound for safety.'

Wild boars have become increasingly common in urban areas due to habitat loss and abundant food sources. They are large, powerful animals with sharp tusks known for their foraging behaviour.
