A lively French bulldog happily leapt around the yard, enjoying the rain during a thunderstorm.

Footage shows one-year-old pooch named Pangoang bouncing under a roof downspout, eagerly catching the trickling droplets in Nakhon Ratchasima province, Thailand.

Pangoang was unfazed by the rumble of thunder as he jumped from side to side, soaking every drop of the refreshing downpour.

The canine was spotted by his owner Ming Aekksit, who watched him have fun from the balcony on May 19.

Ming said: ‘My French bulldog puppy loves playing in the rain so much. He was not afraid of the roaring thunder.'

Thailand and neighbouring countries in Southeast Asia are at the start of their annual monsoon rainy season which sees soaring temperatures followed by powerful rain storms. The rudimentary infrastructure often struggles with the deluge, leading to widespread flash floods.
